Nine Inch Nails putting out a new record and touring is beyond exciting for me.  I wasn’t ready to “wave goodbye,” and so I’m stoked that NIN is not only back, but back in top form.  And if you’re not excited, yet, I think this might help…This morning, courtesy of Spin, we can watch NIN’s entire set from Lollapalooza 2013.  Enjoy!

Au Revoir Simone: “Somebody Who” Video.

Brooklyn trio Au Revoir Simone have released a video for “Somebody Who” off their forthcoming (Sept. 23rd) Instant Records release Move In Spectrums.  French site Konbini, which premiered the clip, writes of the video: “Aujourd’hui marque le retour du trio angelique.” [Today marks the return of the angelic trio.]

I couldn’t agree more.

Balto: Monuments (EP)

Way back in September, Daniel Sheron of Balto wrote to announce the arrival of Monuments, the band’s follow-up to 2011’s October’s Road.  In his letters, Daniel stressed that the album was a new direction for Balto – a step forward for him and the band.  Given how much I loved October’s Road, this was certainly intriguing.  In one e-mail, he wrote:

Mix-Tape Monday: Christmas Edition!
